Wasteology Academy

Wasteology Academy is the company's learning platform — not a one-off course site, but a growing catalog of tracks that take engineers from "never touched this" to "shipped it, proven." Track one is the Agentic Developer Workflow (ADW): how we use Claude Code agents, gated by humans, to turn a spec into a merged PR.

Why an Academy, not just a doc?

The Company Docs are the quick-start reference. The Academy is the full course: concept explainers, hands-on labs, knowledge checks, and a certificate when you finish. Read the docs to look something up. Take the track to actually learn it.

Available tracks

🤖 ADW Track — available now

Ten modules, local-first: install Claude Code on your own subscription, ground it in lat.md, write a spec, run the real plan → build → verify → PR loop, learn why evidence gates matter, then scale to the cloud and onboard your own project. Ends in a capstone where you ship a real, human-gated PR built by ADW.

🔒 Security & Compliance — coming soon

Access governance, credential hygiene, and the Wasteology cloud-governance standard.

👋 Platform Foundations — available now

More tracks are coming

The Academy is built course-agnostic on purpose — a new track is just a new content folder plus one sidebar entry, no platform change required. Have a topic that deserves a track? Talk to the team that owns it.

How a track works

Every track follows the same shape, whether it's ADW today or Data Platform tomorrow: a linear, gated sequence of modules, each pairing a concept with something you actually do.

Your progress is tracked as you go — locally in your browser to start, and across devices once you're signed in. See how the Academy teaches and how tracks, progress, and certificates work for the details.

The Academy is built the way it teaches

This platform is itself spec-first content, grounded in a knowledge graph that can't silently drift from the code, gated by required CI checks before anything merges. If that sentence didn't fully make sense yet — that's exactly what the ADW Track teaches.
